“Man and a (Very Big!) Van”

Due to customer demand UPAK now offer our new “Man and a Van” service. This service is aimed at customers who are undertaking smaller moves but who need a bigger vehicle and help with loading and unloading. This is a cost effective alternative to the hassle of hiring a van, changing insurance, persuading friends to help etc.

Our vans have the largest capacity available on the market and will comfortably hold the contents of an average 1 or 2-bed home. They are equipped with hand trucks, tools and furniture blankets.

Our uniformed drivers are happy to load and unload the van but will obviously need help to move bigger items. We will carefully secure your possessions and safely transport them to your destination.

How much does it Cost?

The cost of our “Man and a Van” service is a follows:

• €60 per hour for the first two hours
• €50 per hour for any subsequent time

These prices are exclusive of VAT @ 21%
You are charged from the time that the van arrives at your current address to the time that we complete the move to your destination. Time is charged in 15 minute units. There is a one hour minimum charge.

This is the UPAK alternative - By combining professional movers with an hourly rate system, and allowing you to help if you wish, we can keep the cost of your move to an absolute minimum. We are committed to moving you as quickly as possible!

Upak are happy to give “All in” quotes for moves to/from locations outside the greater Dublin area and our prices for these moves are extremely competitive. Eg. The price for our “Man and a Van” service to Limerick from Dublin, including loading and unloading is €375 + VAT.
