Two Man + Moving Van

Our “Two Man + Moving Van” service is a low cost alternative to the traditional removal company without sacrificing professionalism or “peace of mind”!
Our vans have either 16 or 18 foot box bodies complete with tail lifts. They are equipped with hand trucks, tools and furniture blankets and will hold the contents of an average 3-bed home.
Our uniformed men are trained, professional movers. Each van will usually have two movers but additional labour is available if required. No move is too big or too small!

• You Pack
In order to make a move as economical as possible we suggest that our customers do their own pre-move packing. If required, we can provide cartons and packing materials to you for this purpose (see Professional Packing Kits and Packing Supplies).

• We Load and Move
Our trained professionals will carefully load and secure your possessions in our van and transport them to your new home or office where we will safely unload them.

• You Save - How much does it Cost?
The cost of our “Two Man + Moving Van” service is as follows:

• €100 per hour for the first two hours
• €80 per hour for any subsequent time

These prices are exclusive of VAT @ 21%
You are charged from the time that the van arrives at your current address to the time that we complete the move into your new home. Time is charged in 15 minute units. There is a one hour minimum charge.
Typically we will complete the move of an average 3-bed home in four hours at a total cost of €435 inc VAT. This assumes that you have completed your own pre-move packing and that there are no delays.
This is the UPAK alternative - By combining professional movers with an hourly rate system, and allowing you to help if you wish, we can keep the cost of your move to an absolute minimum. We are committed to moving you as quickly as possible and can often complete a move within a few hours.
Upak are happy to give “All in” quotes for moves to/from locations outside the greater Dublin area and our prices for these moves are extremely competitive. Eg. The price for our “Two Man + Moving Van” service to Limerick from Dublin, including loading and unloading is €650 + VAT.
